Q: How close is the DIY kit to a professional chrome delete?
About 90 percent of the way there, applied in your own garage at a fraction of what a professional install costs. We developed the kit from our own in-shop de-chroming experience, which we could not previously offer to remote customers. The remaining 10 percent is the work only a pro can do: stretching and cutting vinyl around the most complex curves, plus removing and reinstalling the car’s brightwork. For most owners the DIY result is more than close enough.
