Q: How do I know when my UP BBK pads need replacing?
Swap them when pad thickness nears the kit’s service limit, or when you notice reduced bite, longer stopping distances, or a higher pedal effort than you remember. Prepping for a track day is also a good time to fit fresh friction to protect the rotors and keep performance consistent. Drivers in hilly terrain or on high-grip tires wear pads faster because braking demand is higher.
