The factory rear rotor uses a 47mm sweep annulus. This kit runs a 56mm sweep, which is 19% more pad-to-rotor surface contact in the same physical space. More contact area means more consistent friction and better heat handling without needing a bigger wheel. That extra swept area, combined with the light carbon rotor, is how the kit adds capability while still tucking behind 19-inch wheels.
