Q: How is it built, and why does the construction matter?
It is autoclaved prepreg carbon fiber with Kevlar reinforcement and a true full carbon inner structure. Autoclaved prepreg is the standard for high-end motorsport because it delivers better consistency and strength than vacuum-infused or wet carbon. Cheaper aftermarket trunks use carbon skin over fiberglass; the inside of this one shows genuine carbon, which is where the quality difference is obvious.
