Q: How is the carbon made and how tough is it?
The diffuser, tow hook cover, and hitch cover are all prepreg carbon fiber, built in an autoclave with our dry-carbon-kevlar backing and integrated resin for strong strength-to-weight. That said, carbon is more susceptible to surface damage than the factory plastic, and this sits low where rocks hit. The aero effectiveness is not degraded by chips, but PPF before install protects the finish.
