Q: How practical is it to align the car once these are fitted?

Very, and that was a deliberate engineering goal. The multi-link rear end is a genuine challenge to adjust, so these arms were designed so the technician doing the alignment can actually reach and set them without a fight. Maximum camber range means nothing if a shop cannot dial it in. Our Hawthorne team can install and align, or any capable alignment shop can.
