Q: Should I add a Gurney flap or just run more wing angle?
They do different things. More wing angle buys downforce at the cost of drag. The Gurney flap raises downforce by improving flow attachment, with a relatively small change to drag. The two also stack: the flap is most effective at the Ascension-RR’s higher angle setting, and at lower settings it improves the wing’s overall efficiency. Start with the flap, then adjust angle at the track.
