Q: What does 13 oz vinyl actually mean?
Banner material is graded by weight per square yard, and 13 oz is the standard commercial signage grade. It is heavy enough to hang flat and survive repeated mounting and weather, while staying light enough to put up with simple hardware. Thin promotional banners are usually well under that weight.
