Q: What does the gloss clear coat finish include, and is it protected against fading?

The spoiler carries a gloss base coat that shows the carbon weave. Read this as a foundation finish, not a final one. It is built to be enhanced with professional clear coating or paint protection film at your local shop. The structural warranty runs 5 years on fitment and function for the original owner, but it does not cover cosmetic outcomes like UV fading or discoloration on unprotected parts, so plan on adding protection.
