Q: What does the lower fore link control, and what changes when you upgrade it?
This link is one of the arms in the Model X’s rear multi-link setup, and its job is holding the wheel located as the suspension cycles. Swapping the factory piece for this billet aluminum version on sealed spherical bushings removes the play the soft rubber allows, so the wheel is held more precisely. You get sharper feel and better durability. On the 5-link rear, every arm feeds into how planted the car sits.
