Q: What makes this different from a normal carbon fiber desk accessory?
Origin. A typical carbon accessory uses new commercial carbon; this uses actual upcycled rocket-production prepreg that would otherwise have been scrapped. There is no functional purpose bolted onto it either, which is the point. It exists as a sustainability statement tied to a specific record-setting Model S Plaid, made in tiny hand-built batches rather than off a production line.
