Q: Which tires should I choose for winter use on the UP-05 19?

For real cold-weather driving, spec Michelin X-Ice Snow, Pirelli Winter Sottozero, or Michelin Pilot Alpin PA4 in 255/45R19 or 285/40R19. The 19-inch diameter leaves enough sidewall to cut through slush and absorb winter potholes, and a dedicated winter set on its own wheels keeps salt off your summer rims. Many owners run this exactly that way: 19s for winter, larger factory wheels stored until spring.
