Q: Will more articulation actually help me on the trail?

Yes, keeping all four wheels loaded is one of the biggest factors in off-road traction. When a stiff sway bar lifts a wheel off an obstacle, that tire stops putting power down; letting the suspension articulate keeps it planted. Paired with a 2.5-inch lift kit and the clearance it adds, that articulation is the difference between climbing an uneven section and spinning on it.
