Q: Will these bars make my Model S ride harsh?

Not the way stiffer springs can. Sway bars mainly affect roll in corners, so they flatten the car when you turn without punishing you over straight-line bumps the way a much stiffer spring rate would. Owners report the stiffest setting still keeps daily comfort, since the bar is doing little when both wheels move together. You add cornering control while keeping the everyday ride livable.
