Q: Zip ties held my sensor fine on another car. Why buy a bracket?

An improvised mount changes the sensor’s motion ratio, so the module receives distorted height data and aims the beams wrong even though everything looks attached. A fixed, engineered locating interface keeps readings repeatable over bumps, heat, and time. At $39.95 it is the cheapest component in the entire camber arm job, and the only one regulators care about.
