The Tesla Cybertuck is a notably comfortable truck featuring a car-derived double wishbone suspension set up with adaptive Bilstein dampers and air springs. The standard CT AWD and Cyberbeast suspension package provides extreme adjustability in height. However an inherent drawback of the air spring system is that the spring firmness varies immensely based on vehicle height and the relative inflation of the airbags. The higher the suspension is the stiffer the springs are, and the lower the suspension is the softer the springs are. While the shocks adjust dynamically, it’s more variation than they can handle. As the vehicle automatically lowers at speed to preserve aerodynamic efficiency, the springs become especially soft, leaving the Cybertuck under-damped for many use cases other than smooth roads. Similarly, towing or hauling heavy loads puts too much strain on the relatively soft rear suspension for optimal performance. The extreme forces generated while off-roading can similarly overwhelm the stock airshock and spring combo.
Unplugged Performance’s solution is simple but effective. We engineered a secondary shock that sits inside the rear wishbone and stabilizes, smooths and dampens the body motion. It’s fully adjustable for compression and rebound and can be installed or uninstalled with just a few bolts. If you are carrying especially heavy loads you can turn up the damping, or just “set it and forget it” and enjoy the smoother ride and improved handling. This is one of those great modifications that we can wholeheartedly recommend to every Cybertruck owner: it’s all upside, with no-compromise on ride quality. Will upgrading my brakes void the Tesla warranty?
Tesla’s warranty covers factory-installed parts, but it does not automatically void your warranty if you install aftermarket components like Unplugged Performance brake kits. Under U.S. law (Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act), Tesla must prove that an aftermarket part caused a failure in order to deny warranty coverage. Our parts are engineered to work harmoniously with Tesla OEM Brake systems and can be professionally installed by Unplugged Performance in Hawthorne, CA or by an authorized installer to minimize risk. That said, any damage directly caused by misuse or improper installation may not be covered. We recommend retaining all factory parts so you can revert to stock if needed. What does the Unplugged Performance product warranty cover?

This warranty is valid for 2 years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first, excluding consumable products like brake pads, rotors, and tires, starting from the installation date. It does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, off‑road use, improper installation not done by us, or modifications that aren’t factory-approved.
