Not all 20-inch wheels are created equal, and on a vehicle as heavy and powerful as the Cybertruck, that difference matters. The UP-RW Cyber Road Warrior Wheel & Tire Package pairs a fully forged, high-load-rated wheel with tire options we have validated through internal testing and customer builds, delivering a setup designed to survive real use, not just look the part.
Built around the forged UP-RW Cyber Road Warrior wheel, this complete bundle pairs our most durable and range-validated wheel design with carefully selected 285/65R20 tire options that we have tested extensively in real-world use.
At the heart of the package is the UP-RW Cyber Road Warrior wheel in a 20×9 +45 specification. Unlike the cast factory wheels supplied on the Tesla Cybertruck, the UP-RW is fully forged from 6061-T6 aluminum. Forging compresses the aluminum grain structure under extreme pressure, producing a wheel that is dramatically stronger and more fatigue-resistant than any cast alternative. With a massive 1450 kg load rating per wheel, the UP-RW is engineered to handle the Cybertruck’s weight, torque, towing demands, and off-road impacts with confidence.
Despite its strength, the UP-RW remains impressively light at just 31.9 pounds. Reducing unsprung mass improves ride quality, steering response, and efficiency, all of which matter on a heavy electric truck. This balance of strength and weight is what allows the UP-RW to deliver durability without introducing unnecessary penalties in daily driving.
A defining feature of the Road Warrior platform is the replaceable outer ring. This sacrificial aluminum ring is designed to absorb curb rash and cosmetic damage before the wheel itself is affected. If damaged, the ring can be replaced independently, protecting your investment and significantly reducing long-term ownership costs. For a vehicle that is driven daily, parked in tight spaces, and occasionally taken off road, this feature provides real peace of mind.
Efficiency was a core design target from day one. The UP-RW uses a flat-face aerodynamic profile inspired by Tesla’s own aero philosophy, but executed in a forged aluminum structure rather than a plastic cover.
With three identical Cybertrucks demonstrated that the UP-RW performs on par with Tesla’s most efficient factory Core Wheel and slightly better than the Cyberwheel over a controlled out-and-back route. This means Cybertruck owners can upgrade to a forged wheel without sacrificing range, and in some conditions may even see efficiency improvements depending on driving style and tire choice.
To complete the package, we offer multiple 285/65R20 tire options that have been validated through internal testing and customer builds across different wheel platforms. Each tire option was selected for predictable behavior, load capacity, having the usual stock Tesla tire and/or compatibility with the Cybertruck’s weight and torque characteristics.
The Falken Wildpeak A/T4W delivers excellent all-around performance with strong wet traction, off-road capability, and stable highway manners. It is a favorite among drivers who want true all-terrain confidence without excessive road noise.
The Goodyear Wrangler Territory RT offers a more aggressive tread pattern with reinforced construction, making it a strong choice for mixed on-road and trail use while retaining good daily drivability.
The Kumho Road Venture AT52 balances value, durability, and comfort, making it ideal for drivers who want all-terrain capability with a quieter ride and long tread life.
The Nitto Recon Grappler A/T leans toward a sportier all-terrain profile, offering responsive handling, solid off-road grip, and a more performance-oriented feel on pavement.
The Scorpion ATR Cybertruck OE tire maintains factory-style behavior with excellent efficiency and ride comfort, ideal for owners who want a near-OEM driving experience with the benefits of a forged wheel.
The Toyo Open Country A/T III is a proven favorite for overlanding and heavier use, offering exceptional durability, wet traction, and consistent performance across changing conditions.
Every UP-RW Cyber Road Warrior Wheel & Tire Package includes four wheels, four tires, TPMS sensors, and professional mount and balance.

What’s the best all-season tire for a performance Tesla on 20-inch wheels?
The Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 is our go-to ultra-high-performance all-season for 20-inch Teslas, and this 255/45R20 is our recommended size on UP Forged 20×9 +33 and 20×9.5 +35 wheels. It gives sharp steering and strong wet and dry grip while adding usable light-snow traction, so one set covers heat, rain, and cold shoulder-season days without swapping to a dedicated summer tire.
What is a replaceable outer ring and why does it matter on a daily-driven Cybertruck?
The UP-RW Road Warrior has a sacrificial aluminum outer ring designed to take curb rash and cosmetic damage before the wheel itself is affected. If you scrape it, the ring can be swapped independently instead of refinishing or replacing the whole wheel. For a heavy truck that gets parked in tight spaces and taken off road, that protects your investment and cuts long-term ownership cost.
What does this package include?
It’s a complete bundle: four forged UP-RW wheels in a 20×9 +45 fitment with a 1,450 kg load rating, plus your choice of 285/65R20 tire, and it comes with TPMS, mount, and balance. So it arrives ready to bolt on. Tire options run from highway-focused to all-terrain.
Is a forged UP-RW wheel heavier than my factory Cybertruck wheel?
Each wheel is just 31.9 pounds, which is impressively light for a forged wheel rated to carry the Cybertruck’s mass. Reducing unsprung weight improves ride quality and steering response, and it helps efficiency, all of which matter on a heavy electric truck. Strength without a weight penalty is the design goal.
Which tire should I pick from the package options?
You can choose among validated 285/65R20 options including BFGoodrich KO3, Falken Wildpeak A/T4W, Goodyear Wrangler Territory RT, Kumho Road Venture AT52, Michelin Defender LTX Platinum, Nitto Recon Grappler A/T, Pirelli Scorpion ATR, and Toyo Open Country A/T. Each was selected for predictable behavior and load capacity on the Cybertruck. If you want the smoothest, most range-friendly ride, lean toward the highway-oriented Defender; for trail work, an all-terrain.
Does the UP-RW fit all Cybertruck trims and years?
Yes, it’s designed around the Cybertruck platform and its efficiency and durability targets, so it works across every trim and model year. The 20×9 +45 fitment with included TPMS makes it a clean OEM-replacement setup that bolts on without fuss. Because it’s engineered for the truck specifically, there’s nothing trim-dependent to check.
How do the UP-RW and CYBRHEX 20-inch packages compare?
Both are forged 6061-T6 20-inch packages, but the UP-RW leans aero-efficient with its flat face and sacrificial ring, tuned to protect range and survive daily curb life. The 20-inch CYBRHEX uses an open hexagonal face for a more rugged, off-road look. Pick UP-RW for efficient daily durability, CYBRHEX for trail aesthetics.
Is a 20-inch wheel better for off-road than a bigger diameter?
A 20-inch keeps more tire sidewall than a 22 or 24 for the same overall height, and that extra sidewall cushions impacts, protects the rim, and lets you air down for trail traction. The 285/65R20 tires here give real all-terrain capability. For mixed street and off-road use, this size is a practical sweet spot.
Does running the UP-RW package put my Tesla warranty at risk?
Fitting aftermarket wheels doesn’t automatically void your Tesla warranty. Under Magnuson-Moss, Tesla would need to prove a wheel caused a specific failure to deny that claim, and a correctly sized, properly torqued wheel with working TPMS is a clean swap. Keeping your OEM wheels lets you return to stock whenever you like.
Can I upgrade the lug nuts, and does UP install these?
Lightweight titanium lug nuts are offered as an add-on, and because the package already includes TPMS, mount, and balance, it’s ready to fit. Our Hawthorne team can install the set and take care of alignment, or connect you with an authorized installer if you’re not local. The package is priced from $4,995 to $5,695 depending on tire choice.
What does the Unplugged Performance product warranty cover?
Unplugged Performance offers a comprehensive warranty on all parts and installations performed by our certified technicians. Warranty coverage applies to defects in materials and workmanship on items including lowering springs, coilovers, big brake kits, brake pads, stainless steel brake lines, shocks, and more. Should any covered part fail under normal use or display premature wear, we will repair or replace it at no additional cost—assuming the component was installed by us or at one of our authorized partners.
This warranty is valid for 2 years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first, excluding consumable products like brake pads, rotors, and tires, starting from the installation date. Coverage extends to labor for warranty repairs when performed by Unplugged Performance or an authorized installer. It does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, off‑road use, improper installation not done by us, or modifications that aren’t factory-approved.
To file a warranty claim, simply contact our service team. We’ll guide you through inspection, shipping (if needed), and repair or replacement logistics. transparencia and top-tier support are what you can expect from Unplugged.
Will installing Unplugged Performance parts void my Tesla warranty?
Installing aftermarket parts does not automatically void your Tesla warranty. Under the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act (www.sema.org/sema-enews/2011/01/ftc-validates-right-to-install-aftermarket-parts), a manufacturer cannot void your warranty simply because you installed aftermarket parts. Tesla must prove that the aftermarket part caused the specific failure in question to deny a warranty claim. UP recommends retaining all factory parts to allow reverting to stock if needed.
What are the shipping options and times?
