Yes. There are two configurations: rocker panels on their own, or rocker panels with the modular rock sliders attached. If you want the cleaner factory-style look now and plan to add the slider bars later, start with the panels. The sliders bolt onto the steel rockers, so you can add or swap them without pulling the whole rocker system off the truck.

No. The UP INVINCIBLE Rock Sliders are not compatible with Tesla’s Terrestrial Armor Package, since that package changes the rocker area they bolt to. On a Cybertruck without that package, they replace the factory plastic rocker panels directly. If you’re unsure what your truck has, our team can confirm before you order.

Every metal surface gets a thick black powder coating that shrugs off rust and abrasion. That matters on a part living inches off the trail, where rock strikes and winter road spray attack the steel daily. The finish keeps the look sharp and the metal protected. If a slider bar ever gets chewed up, it unbolts on its own for a fresh one.

They do. The rock sliders are rated to support significant weight and sit at a height that works as an integrated side step, which is genuinely useful once you’ve added a lift kit and taller tires. Removing the factory rocker panels and mud flaps also frees up a little ground clearance for steeper approaches.

It’s a full replacement of the rocker system in heavy carbon steel, so plan on lifting the truck, removing the factory plastic rockers, and bolting the steel panels to multiple chassis points. A capable DIYer with a proper jack and stands can manage it, but the weight makes it a two-person job. Many owners fold it into a larger build like the Heavy-Duty Armor Exterior System and have it installed alongside the rest.

The factory rockers are plastic aero covers. They look fine but offer no meaningful protection against a rock or a curb, and they can crack. Carbon steel rockers with slider bars turn that same area into structure that shrugs off impacts and carries weight as a step. The tradeoff is added mass and cost, so if you never leave pavement, the stock plastic may be all you need.

Rock sliders take the hit when the truck’s underside slides across rocks, ledges, or logs on a trail, protecting the stainless body and the battery pack that runs along the floor. Our UP INVINCIBLE Rock Sliders replace the factory plastic rocker panels with carbon steel rockers plus bolt-on slider bars, so the impact loads spread into the chassis instead of crushing bodywork. They double as a step for getting in and out.

They use A36 steel, the same weldable grade trusted across heavy-duty off-road builds, so a shop can repair them if a hard hit ever bends something. The rocker panels are just over 1/8 inch thick (gauge 10), a deliberate balance of strength and weight. We don’t go thicker here because the sliders anchor to the chassis at multiple points down their length, so piling on steel like the 1/4-inch used in our front bumper would only add dead weight and cost range.

Warranty coverage applies to defects in materials and workmanship on items including lowering springs, coilovers, big brake kits, brake pads, stainless steel brake lines, shocks, and more. Should any covered part fail under normal use or display premature wear, we will repair or replace it at no additional cost—assuming the component was installed by us or at one of our authorized partners.

This warranty is valid for 2 years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first, excluding consumable products like brake pads, rotors, and tires, starting from the installation date. Coverage extends to labor for warranty repairs when performed by Unplugged Performance or an authorized installer. It does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, off‑road use, improper installation not done by us, or modifications that aren’t factory-approved.

Installing aftermarket parts does not automatically void your Tesla warranty. Under the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act (www.sema.org/sema-enews/2011/01/ftc-validates-right-to-install-aftermarket-parts), a manufacturer cannot void your warranty simply because you installed aftermarket parts. Tesla must prove that the aftermarket part caused the specific failure in question to deny a warranty claim. UP recommends retaining all factory parts to allow reverting to stock if needed.
