Product Details
The Unplugged Performance Carbon Fiber Front Lip Spoiler was designed specifically for the 2024+ Tesla Model 3 non-Performance trims, giving the refreshed front end the premium, performance-inspired look it deserves. Instead of the basic plastic lower bumper, your Model 3 gains a contoured carbon fiber splitter that looks native to the car while adding real aerodynamic intent.
Prepreg carbon fiber, built the UP way
Like our Model 3 Performance aero components, this splitter is manufactured from high-quality prepreg dry carbon fiber. Prepreg construction allows precise control over resin content and fiber layup, resulting in a part that is lighter, stronger, and more dimensionally consistent than traditional wet-lay fiberglass or carbon.
The weave, edge quality, and surface finish are held to the same standards as our track-proven aero parts. Whether you choose gloss carbon for a high-contrast motorsport look or satin carbon for a stealthier aesthetic, the finish is crisp and uniform, with a premium feel that matches the rest of your Unplugged Performance Model 3 upgrades.
CFD-validated aero with real-world meaning
This is not carbon for carbon’s sake. In stock form, the Model 3 generates a small amount of lift at higher speeds. Our splitter was developed and validated with CFD, and when used in combination with the other components in our aero package, the car transitions from lift to meaningful downforce. At 150 mph, the package delivers a net aerodynamic shift of -434 N, and the aero balance improves as well, moving from front-heavy to more neutral.
Why do we reference 150 mph if you’re not driving that fast? Because aerodynamic forces scale with speed, and higher-speed CFD is a standardized way to make differences easy to measure and compare. The important takeaway is not that you’ll ever drive 150 mph, it’s that the design shifts the car’s aero in the right direction. At real-world freeway speeds, the same lift-reducing, stability-improving effect is present, just at smaller magnitudes. What you feel is a more planted front end, steadier tracking, and improved composure as speed builds, especially on long sweepers, during lane changes, in crosswinds, and when passing larger vehicles. The added stability comes with only a small increase in drag, delivering downforce and high-speed confidence in a modest and efficient way.
150 mph is a standardized CFD comparison point used to quantify aero changes, not a recommendation for street driving.
Functional details built into the shape
The splitter features integrated side deflectors that guide airflow cleanly around the front wheels, helping reduce wheel-wake drag and supporting overall efficiency. A subtly protruding center section generates additional downforce by leveraging the naturally high-pressure zone at the nose of the car, placing usable front grip exactly where you want it: at the centerline. Despite its effect, it does not meaningfully reduce ground clearance, keeping the car practical for everyday street use.
Two-piece design, one seamless look
To make ownership easier and more cost-effective, this front lip spoiler is built as a two-piece system. Splitting the part allows us to reduce box size and shipping cost, and it lowers the risk of damage in transit compared to a large, single-piece item.
On the car, the seam is positioned and shaped to disappear into the bumper’s natural lines. Once installed, it reads as a single continuous splitter, not a split part. The two-piece layout also gives more flexibility during installation, making it easier to center, align, and fine-tune the fitment side to side. You get all the benefits of a premium carbon upgrade without the shipping penalty or installation stress that often comes with big one-piece lips.
Secure installation using factory bolt points
This splitter installs directly to the factory bolt points underneath the car, ensuring a secure fit with no modifications required. It installs cleanly over the factory bumper with no cutting and no drilling into painted surfaces. Depending on installer preference, it uses a combination of supplied hardware and automotive-grade bonding materials while remaining fully reversible.
Because it follows the OEM bumper profile, alignment is intuitive and the spoiler naturally sits where it belongs. Installation can be handled by a competent DIYer or a trusted local shop in a short session. And if you ever need to return the car to stock, the lip can be removed without permanent modifications.
Perfect pairing with UP rear aero
This front lip spoiler was designed to visually and thematically pair with our rear carbon fiber high-efficiency spoiler and rear diffuser extension trim piece. Together, they give the car a cohesive premium carbon appearance, plus a balanced aero package engineered for stability.

Will Tesla void my warranty if I install aftermarket parts?
A vehicle’s comprehensive warranty as a whole may not be voided due to use of aftermarket parts per the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act (www.sema.org/sema-enews/2011/01/ftc-validates-right-to-install-aftermarket-parts). However, a manufacturer may require a customer to pay for parts and labor for a repair if there is direct causation between a customer’s alteration and the product or service repair being requested. It is in both manufacturer and customer’s interest to follow logic and reason so that the system of good faith is not abused. If this topic interests you please read the law as well as your warranty documentation. Ultimately we are Tesla owners and enthusiasts, we are not lawyers and cannot provide legal advice.
