Our advanced Model X Plaid suspension development and racing kicked off in June 2021 with our race car Dark Helmet as we set out to develop the ultimate performance handling Model S. The results have followed as we brought home to the Tesla community a Pikes Peak class victory and multiple production based EV lap records with our development race car. In the months that followed, we’ve gone into production with a premium range of suspension components that can be purchased individually or as a comprehensive lineup depending on the goals of each driver. All of our suspension development begins with precision 3D scanning of the car’s suspension to develop a working digital model, then followed by real-world racing and street use internally on our company vehicles before roll out to the public. Billet Rear Lower Arm Set (Lower Fore Link)
These Unplugged Performance Billet Rear Lower Arm Set (Lower Fore Link) for Tesla Model X Plaid and LR 2021+ vehicles replaces the standard Lower Fore Link with a stronger and lighter billet aluminum version with high performance sealed spherical bushings. The upgraded bushings provide both silent operation and improved handling feel and durability. The new 2021+ Model X features an all-new 5 link rear suspension that we have precisely re-engineered for performance driving.
