Q: 235/35R20 versus a 245-section, which grips more?

A wider 245-section, like the 245/40R19 4S, puts slightly more rubber on the road than this 235, so at the limit it edges ahead on peak grip. The 235/35ZR20 answers with lower weight and a fraction less rolling resistance, which helps steering feel and range. On the street the difference is small. Wheel width decides it: the 235 is matched to the 9-inch +25 wheel we recommend.
