Q: Are 21s the right call if I track my Model S?

For street presence they are unmatched, but the tight sidewall is less forgiving of curbs and track ripples than a 19 or 20. Serious track drivers often prefer a smaller diameter with more sidewall for durability and grip. If your 21s are mainly for the street and occasional lapping, run the Pilot Sport 4S and keep alignment and tire pressures dialed for the conditions.
