Q: Does going oversized really change my range and speedometer much?
The change is small but real. A taller rolling radius means the wheel turns fewer times per mile, so the speedometer reads slightly under true speed and range estimates shift a little. For most drivers on stock or mild-lowered setups it is a minor tradeoff for the extra ride comfort and the filled-out stance the taller sidewall gives. If precise readings matter to you, weigh that against the ride benefits.
