It is modest but real. The lip reduces front lift, and less lift means less drag, which is why the page lists a measured 2% drag reduction when combined with the rear spoiler. On a tall SUV the effect is most useful at highway speed. It will not add dozens of miles, but cleaner airflow and better stability are a fair return for a bolt-on carbon piece.
