Q: What finishes are offered, and do they need clear coat?
The fenders come with a gloss or satin base coat that shows the carbon weave. That base coat is a foundation, provided at no cost as a time-saver, and it should be professionally clear coated or covered with paint protection film to guard against UV. As bare base-coat parts, they are not protected against fading or discoloration until you add that clear or PPF layer.
