Q: What is the load rating on the UP-03 forged wheel?

Each UP-03 wheel is rated for a wildly overbuilt 950 kg, which works out to 2,094.39 lbs per wheel. That’s far more than a Model S Plaid demands, and the excess is deliberate. It’s what lets the wheel shrug off drag launches and hard track loads without stressing the structure. The I-beam spoke design is engineered to eliminate flex under that kind of load.
