Q: What is the UP-02 wheel design based on?
UP-02 is a modern reinterpretation of Tesla’s iconic turbine wheel, a tribute to that original design brought up to date. It keeps the flowing turbine character owners recognize while adding the strength and finish of a forged aftermarket wheel. On a Model X or Model X Plaid it reads as familiar yet clearly a step above the factory piece, which is why it is one of the easiest upgrades to live with. If you want a sharper, more modern face instead, the UP-04 forged wheels take the opposite direction.
