Q: What is UP-03 made of and what is its load rating?

Each UP-03 wheel is CNC-machined from 6061-T6 forged aluminum and carries a 950 kg load rating per corner. The I-beam spoke design resists flex, and a knurled barrel helps stop the tire slipping under hard acceleration. Those are meaningful numbers for a Plaid, whose mass and torque punish underbuilt wheels. The strength here is engineered into the structure, not implied by the styling.
