Q: Why choose 19-inch over 20-inch on a Model 3?

A 19-inch wheel runs a taller sidewall than a 20, which softens sharp impacts and protects the rim while keeping steering precise. It is the middle ground: more responsive than an 18, more comfortable and forgiving than a 20. If you want the lower-profile, more aggressive look and feel, the same UP-05 design is offered in 20-inch. Diameter really comes down to how you drive.
