Q: Why is 20 inches a good wheel size for a Model Y?

Twenty inches sits in the Model Y sweet spot. You gain sharper turn-in and lateral support over smaller diameters, but keep enough sidewall for real ride comfort on rough streets. The forged UP-05 also cuts rotating mass versus typical cast wheels, which lets the dampers work in their ideal range. The result is more consistent braking, better mid-corner composure, and a calmer ride across broken pavement.
