Tesla Model X 19-Inch UP-RW FF Wheel and Winter Tire Package
-
The Model X is the heaviest vehicle Tesla builds, it is the one most likely to be loaded with people and gear, and it is the one most likely to be pointed at a mountain in February. The UP-RW FF 19-Inch Wheel and Winter Tire Package is built for exactly that job. The 265/50R19 fitment delivers the tallest sidewall of any winter package in the range while holding overall diameter within a fraction of the factory 20-inch setup, and the flow-formed wheel carries a load rating specifically suited to the Model X. Aero-optimized construction protects the range a loaded, cold, high-altitude drive puts under pressure.

The Heaviest Tesla, and the One Most Likely to Be Going Somewhere Difficult
Model X owners tend to use the car the way it was designed to be used. Families, gear, long drives, and a disproportionate number of trips toward snow rather than away from it. It is the Tesla most likely to have a roof box on it in January and five people inside.
That use case sets the requirements. A Model X is the heaviest passenger vehicle Tesla builds, and loading it for a trip adds several hundred pounds on top of that. It sits higher and carries its mass higher than a Model S, so it asks more of a tire in a corner. And the roads it is heading toward in winter are typically the worst-maintained roads in the region, because mountain routes take the most weather and get the least attention.
The UP-RW FF 19-Inch Wheel and Winter Tire Package was specified around that reality.
The Most Sidewall in the Winter Lineup
The 265/50R19 fitment on this package produces the tallest sidewall of any winter package Unplugged Performance offers, and on a Model X that is exactly the correct priority.
Sidewall does three things that matter here. It absorbs impacts, protecting the wheel from the frost-heaved, potholed, plow-scarred pavement that mountain and rural winter roads become. It provides compliance, which on a heavy vehicle carrying passengers translates directly into a more comfortable ride over surfaces that are not going to improve until spring. And it gives the tire more room to deform and conform to uneven, snow-covered ground, which helps the contact patch find grip where a stiffer, shorter sidewall would skip across the top.
The overall diameter of a 265/50R19 lands within a fraction of an inch of the factory 265/45R20 setup. Your speedometer stays accurate, your odometer stays accurate, range estimation stays calibrated, and the car’s stability and traction systems keep operating on the wheel speed data they were developed with. You gain the sidewall without changing anything the car depends on.
A Load Rating Built for This Vehicle
Most wheels quote a load rating that comfortably clears a sedan and gets thin on a heavy SUV. The UP-RW FF is described the other way around: it carries a load rating suitable for the Model X, Tesla’s heaviest passenger vehicle. This is the application that defines the rating rather than the one that strains it.
That comes from flow-formed construction. The process starts with a cast blank, then spins the barrel at high speed while rollers stretch and compress the aluminum over a mandrel, aligning the grain structure in the section of the wheel that takes the impact. The result is a barrel that is lighter and considerably more impact-resistant than a conventional cast wheel.
For a Model X loaded with family and gear on a winter mountain road, that combination of strength and load capacity is not a specification you read past. It is the reason to buy this package rather than a cast wheel from a tire shop.
Behind it sits a lifetime structural warranty for the original owner. Crack a wheel and we replace it.
Aero Efficiency on the Drive That Needs It
The UP-RW FF carries the aero-focused disc profile of the Road Warrior family. In CFD validation the UP-RW measured within 0.010 Cd of Tesla’s lowest-drag production wheel, the 18-inch Photon Aero Covered wheel, putting it among the most aerodynamically efficient wheels ever built for a Tesla.
On a Model X the winter range picture is the least forgiving in the lineup. The vehicle is heavy, its frontal area is large, it is often loaded, cabin heating for a three-row interior draws real power, and cold air is denser than warm air so aerodynamic drag at a given speed is higher than it would be in summer. A ski trip in February is close to the worst-case range scenario a Tesla owner encounters.
A wheel engineered to minimize drag is one of the few variables working in your favor on that drive, and it does its work continuously without any input from you.
Correct TPMS for Your Model Year
This package is available with 2012-2020 TPMS or 2021+ TPMS, so the sensors match your vehicle’s system and pair correctly the first time. Specify the version for your model year at checkout, and the set arrives ready to install without a shop visit for sensor programming.
Curb Guards for Tight Winter Parking
Replaceable curb guard rings are available for the UP-RW FF. On a vehicle as wide as a Model X, in parking spaces made narrower by plowed snow, they are more than a cosmetic consideration. Curbs disappear under banks, lot edges become invisible, and the space you have to work with shrinks all season. A curb guard turns that contact into a replaceable ring rather than a permanent mark on the wheel.
What This Package Is Worth Over Time
A Model X on factory 20- or 22-inch wheels running all-seasons through winter is accumulating cost quietly. Low-profile tires on frost-heaved mountain roads damage wheels. Salt and brine work on finishes for five months. A tire compound operating below its designed range wears faster and grips worse at the same time, on the heaviest vehicle Tesla makes.
A dedicated winter set on flow-formed wheels stops all of it. No twice-yearly mounting fees. Your summer wheels spend the season indoors. Both tire sets stay within their designed operating range and last longer for it. And the vehicle you use to carry your family into winter conditions is running the tallest sidewall, the correct load rating, and the most aerodynamically efficient wheel available for it.

Will installing Unplugged Performance parts void my Tesla warranty?
Installing aftermarket parts does not automatically void your Tesla warranty. Under the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act (www.sema.org/sema-enews/2011/01/ftc-validates-right-to-install-aftermarket-parts), a manufacturer cannot void your warranty simply because you installed aftermarket parts. Tesla must prove that the aftermarket part caused the specific failure in question to deny a warranty claim. UP recommends retaining all factory parts to allow reverting to stock if needed.
What are the shipping options and times?
Unplugged Performance processes orders quickly, typically within 1–2 business days after placement. For U.S. customers, orders under $50 usually ship via FedEx SmartPost with an estimated delivery time of 2–7 business days. Larger items like body kits or bumpers may ship via freight carriers with curbside delivery; customers will be contacted to schedule a delivery window. International shipping is available to most countries, with shipping costs calculated at checkout. Delivery times abroad vary, generally ranging from 5 to 16 business days depending on destination. Import duties or taxes are the customer’s responsibility. To ensure a smooth shipping experience, provide accurate contact information during checkout.
