The Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 is our go-to ultra-high-performance all-season for 20-inch Teslas, and this 255/45R20 is our recommended size on UP Forged 20×9 +33 and 20×9.5 +35 wheels. It gives sharp steering and strong wet and dry grip while adding usable light-snow traction, so one set covers heat, rain, and cold shoulder-season days without swapping to a dedicated summer tire.

A 20-inch summer setup like this usually trims a little range versus a taller, narrower touring tire, from added rolling resistance and the sportier compound. The effect is modest. If range is your first priority, a 19-inch tire or an all-season gives it back; if you want the 20-inch stance and sharper handling, this is a fair tradeoff for most daily drivers.

They pair grip with genuine all-weather usability, so the package works as a single year-round setup rather than something you swap seasonally. The 255/45ZR20 Michelin also carries the taller sidewall that gives this package its comfort gain. High-efficiency rubber helps keep range losses from the larger size modest.

It does. You can trade in undamaged 2026+ Model Y Juniper wheels for a $1,000 rebate, or other undamaged OEM Model Y wheels for $500, applied when you buy the package. The rebate comes as a check after your wheels are delivered and pass inspection. It is a straightforward way to lower the cost and recycle your factory set.

The wheels-only Flugplatz set is just the four rims, so you supply the tires and TPMS and get them mounted yourself. This package arrives with Michelin all-season tires and sensors already road-force balanced onto the wheels for you. It also runs a taller sidewall than the factory 20″ setup on purpose, trading a touch of size for a noticeably softer daily ride.

That is its whole reason for existing. The Model Y rides firm from the factory, so we paired the 20″ Flugplatz with an upsized Michelin sidewall to absorb road imperfections without dropping to a small 19″ wheel that looks lost on the car. You keep the stance and gain cushion. Many owners run it alongside our Luxury coilovers for the smoothest result.

It fits all Model Y variants built anywhere in the world, including Performance, Long Range, Short Range, and 4680 battery cars. It also clears all Tesla brake systems and every Unplugged Performance big brake kit. A base Long Range and a Performance alike take this package as a straight bolt-on.

Slightly. The larger rolling diameter produces about a 3% speedometer reading variance, which we judged a fair trade for the added comfort and clearance. It causes no error or fault in the car’s systems, and we have tested the setup extensively before offering it. A taller tire has the speedometer read a touch under your true speed, nothing that affects how the car drives.

In testing they fit without rubbing at normal and raised ride heights, and on UP Luxury coilovers as well as our Moderate and Mild dual-rate lowering springs. Past about 1.5″ of drop, more extreme lowering setups may start to rub. If you plan to go lower than that, talk to us first about clearance for your specific configuration.

Ground clearance goes up 0.55″ compared with the standard Tesla 20″ wheel package, thanks to the taller Michelin sidewall. That is useful for steep driveways, speed bumps, and rougher roads. As a bonus, the larger tire also closes up the wheel-well gap that many owners find unattractive on the stock setup.

No. The wheels arrive already mounted and road-force balanced with TPMS sensors fitted, so you simply bolt them onto the car and drive. Road-force balancing goes a step beyond standard spin balancing to smooth out vibration, which matters on a quiet EV where you notice more. Unplugged Performance offers a comprehensive warranty on all parts and installations performed by our certified technicians. Warranty coverage applies to defects in materials and workmanship on items including lowering springs, coilovers, big brake kits, brake pads, stainless steel brake lines, shocks, and more. Should any covered part fail under normal use or display premature wear, we will repair or replace it at no additional cost—assuming the component was installed by us or at one of our authorized partners.

This warranty is valid for 2 years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first, excluding consumable products like brake pads, rotors, and tires, starting from the installation date. Coverage extends to labor for warranty repairs when performed by Unplugged Performance or an authorized installer. It does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, off‑road use, improper installation not done by us, or modifications that aren’t factory-approved.

Installing aftermarket parts does not automatically void your Tesla warranty. Under the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act (www.sema.org/sema-enews/2011/01/ftc-validates-right-to-install-aftermarket-parts), a manufacturer cannot void your warranty simply because you installed aftermarket parts. Tesla must prove that the aftermarket part caused the specific failure in question to deny a warranty claim. UP recommends retaining all factory parts to allow reverting to stock if needed.
