Getting more from your Tesla Model 3 starts with how efficiently it uses energy. Wheel design, airflow, and ride height can all play a role, especially when highway miles become part of your daily routine(and we’re talking from experience). That is why, today, Unplugged Performance is proud to roll out the Tesla Model 3 Range Booster Package (RBP), a package curated to get 4 up upgrades together in one coordinated upgrade for compatible 2024+ Tesla Model 3 trims.

The package puts together our 18-inch UP-RW forged wheels, a High Efficiency Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler, Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser Trim Extension, and a Moderate Lowering Spring set; each serving a specific mission: to put efficiency at the center while adding distinctive styling and a lower stance.

18-Inch UP-RW Forged Wheels: Where Efficiency Meets Strength

The UP-RW Road Warrior wheels are the foundation of the package. Their integrated aerodynamic disc helps manage airflow around the wheels, an important consideration when selecting Model 3 aftermarket wheels for range and everyday use. In case you didn’t know, we actually put the UP-RW design in computational development simulations and it was efficient, just shy of 0.010 Cd of Tesla’s 18-inch Photon (Tesla’s most efficient wheel design) wheel with its aero cover installed.

The UP-RW is manufactured from 6061-T6 aluminum, the 18-inch UP-RW has a published weight of 22.4 pounds. The wheel also comes with replaceable curb protection for the realities of daily driving.

Just this week, these wheels were paired with stock-size Hankook iON EVO AS tires for a cross-country Cannonball FSD Record.

High Efficiency Rear Spoiler: Carbon Fiber With a Job

The High Efficiency Rear Spoiler gives the Model 3 a subtle carbon fiber accent with an aerodynamic purpose. Developed to manage airflow leaving the rear of the vehicle, its shape supports the package’s focus on reducing drag and improving stability.

Rather than choosing a spoiler solely for its appearance, the RBP incorporates a component developed through aerodynamic research. It brings a deliberate finishing touch to the trunk while working within the broader rear aero configuration.

For daily drivers, that means an upgrade aligned with how the car is actually used: commuting, weekend travel, and longer stretches of highway. The carbon fiber finish also gives the rear profile a more distinctive appearance.

Rear Diffuser Trim Extension: Helping Air Exit Cleanly

Airflow beneath the vehicle matters, too. The Carbon Fiber Rear Diffuser Trim Extension lengthens the factory diffuser and adds two central strakes to help guide air through the rear section.

CFD testing of a 2024+ Model 3 configuration combining side skirts, rear spats, the High Efficiency Rear Spoiler, and diffuser extension showed approximately 2.4% lower drag alongside increased net downforce. That figure applies to the complete tested configuration, including side skirts and rear spats beyond the RBP’s included components. Within the package, the diffuser extension complements the spoiler by addressing airflow lower on the vehicle. Together, they create a more purposeful rear appearance grounded in aerodynamic development.

Moderate Lowering Springs: Bringing the Package Together

Moderate Lowering Springs complete the setup by reducing ride height. Lowering changes how air interacts with the vehicle and supports the package’s aerodynamic goals while giving the Model 3 a more planted stance.

UP’s earlier Model 3 research demonstrated the relationship between reduced ride height and lower aerodynamic drag. The RBP incorporates that principle into a coordinated combination of wheels, suspension, and exterior upgrades.

The package is intended for compatible 2024+ Model 3 applications and does not fit 2017–2023 models. Confirm your trim when ordering and bring efficiency into your next upgrade.

Cross-Country Experience Behind the Package

Zack (@BLKMDL3), @DBurkland, and @AaronS5_ reported completing 2,871 miles in 45 hours and 37 minutes, entirely on FSD (Supervised), with zero interventions. Their RBP-equipped Model 3 used Tesla Superchargers exclusively and averaged 238.9 Wh/mi, approximately 15% less energy per mile than Zack’s previous stock run. Conditions differed between journeys, so the comparison does not isolate package gains. FSD still requires active driver supervision throughout every journey.

Efficiency Upgrades for Other Teslas

Owners of 2017–2020 Model 3s and Model Ys can explore High Efficiency Rear Spoilers and lowering springs. Model S and Model X owners can explore lowering links to reduce ride height for potential aerodynamic benefits.
