Tesla Model 3 UP x Koenigsegg Collaboration Ascension-R Front Wide Fender Set
$9,495.00
-
Produced in collaboration with Koenigsegg Advanced Manufacturing in Europe, the Unplugged Performance CFD developed Front Wide Fender allows you to run wider wheels and tires to deliver maximum grip for on-track performance. The standard Tesla Model 3 cannot accommodate more than roughly 275-millimeter section width front tires with a street alignment or in extreme cases 295-millimeter with aggressive race camber. This fender pairing replaces the original front fender entirely with a 20 millimeter wider version to accommodate the widest possible front tire. This enables the use of performance tires up to 315-millimeter section width (with supporting Unplugged Performance front upper control arms) through widening and reshaping the fender for extreme clearance while maintaining a subtle aggressive shape. In CFD validation A/B tests in combination with our Ascension-R package the front fenders when added provided a 15lb further increase in front downforce with a drag increase of only 6lbs due to the aero efficient shape. Our world record Tesla Model 3 race cars use this fender to enable superior front grip.

UP Carbon parts are engineered using advanced prepreg-autoclave technology with our proprietary dry-carbon-kevlar backing layer. This superior method, with resin integrated during production, delivers exceptional strength-to-weight performance compared to traditional wet-layup or vacuum infusion methods.

What is the UP x Koenigsegg wide fender, and why does it cost $9,495?
It is a carbon fiber front wide fender set for the Model 3, built with Koenigsegg Advanced Manufacturing in Europe. The price reflects how it is made: on the same production line as the aero on Koenigsegg’s hypercars, laid up in their proprietary carbon weave and cured in an autoclave, then finished in UV-protectant clear coat. You are buying a piece of hypercar-grade manufacturing for a Tesla.
What does this fender let me do that a stock Model 3 fender can’t?
It lets you fit a much wider front tire for grip. A standard Model 3 tops out around 275mm front on a street alignment, or 295mm with aggressive race camber. This set replaces the front fender with a 20mm-wider version, opening the door to tires up to 315mm section width with supporting UP front upper control arms. Wider front rubber means more front grip and less understeer.
Does it fit both the older Model 3 and the 2024+ car?
Yes. You select your vehicle year at purchase, with options for the 2017-2023 Model 3 and the 2024+ Highland. Either way it is a four-piece set: left and right fenders plus left and right fender caps, so the front bumper can still be removed normally for service. Bumper and bracket trimming is required to run the optimal tire sizes and offsets.
Is there a real aerodynamic gain, or is this about the badge?
There is a measured gain. In CFD A/B testing with our Ascension-R package, these front fenders added 15 lbs of front downforce while increasing drag by just 6 lbs, because the shape is aero-optimized. Our world-record Model 3 race cars run this fender to boost front grip. The Koenigsegg pedigree is real, but the downforce number is what earns it on track.
How is this different from the standard UP carbon wide fender?
The function is identical: 20mm wider, up to 315mm front tire, the same 15 lb downforce benefit. What differs is the making and the price. This version is produced in the EU by Koenigsegg Advanced Manufacturing in their signature weave, as a limited hypercar-grade item. The standard UP carbon fiber wide fender gives the same grip for far less money.
Who should install these, given the price?
A professional, without question. Fitting them requires trimming the factory front bumper and brackets for correct tire and offset clearance, which is permanent, exacting work. These are not parts you want to learn on. We recommend expert installation. If you are near Los Angeles, our Hawthorne team can handle it; choose the install option at checkout to arrange a quote and appointment.
What wheels and tires pair with this fender?
It exists to run the widest possible front tire, up to 315mm, on an aggressive fitment with UP front upper control arms for alignment. That suits a wide forged wheel setup; our race-capable UP-03 lightweight forged wheels reach the widths this fender is built to accommodate. Confirm your exact wheel and tire choice against your camber plan so nothing contacts the fender or knuckle.
How is the carbon made, and does the finish need protection?
It is prepreg carbon fiber cured in an autoclave with a proprietary dry-carbon-kevlar backing layer, then finished with a UV-protectant clear coat, so it arrives showing Koenigsegg’s signature weave. Because the base-coat weave finish is not covered against UV fading or discoloration, professional clear coat or paint protection film is the recommended way to keep it looking right long term.
What warranty comes with the Koenigsegg fender set?
It carries a 5-year structural warranty on fitment and functionality for the original owner, covering the part structurally. It does not cover cosmetic issues on the finish, from UV fading and discoloration through to surface scratches, which is why protecting the clear coat matters. For a limited hypercar-line piece like this, keeping the finish protected preserves both looks and value.
Will this collaboration part affect my Tesla warranty?
Installing it does not automatically void your Tesla warranty. Under the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, Tesla must prove the fender caused a specific failure to deny that portion of a claim, not simply point to an aftermarket part. Remember that fitting it permanently trims the factory bumper, so this is a committed build. Weigh that if a full return to stock could matter later.
What does the Unplugged Performance product warranty cover?
Unplugged Performance offers a comprehensive warranty on all parts and installations performed by our certified technicians. Warranty coverage applies to defects in materials and workmanship on items including lowering springs, coilovers, big brake kits, brake pads, stainless steel brake lines, shocks, and more. Should any covered part fail under normal use or display premature wear, we will repair or replace it at no additional cost—assuming the component was installed by us or at one of our authorized partners.
This warranty is valid for 2 years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first, excluding consumable products like brake pads, rotors, and tires, starting from the installation date. Coverage extends to labor for warranty repairs when performed by Unplugged Performance or an authorized installer. It does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, off‑road use, improper installation not done by us, or modifications that aren’t factory-approved.
To file a warranty claim, simply contact our service team. We’ll guide you through inspection, shipping (if needed), and repair or replacement logistics. transparencia and top-tier support are what you can expect from Unplugged.
Will installing Unplugged Performance parts void my Tesla warranty?
Installing aftermarket parts does not automatically void your Tesla warranty. Under the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act (www.sema.org/sema-enews/2011/01/ftc-validates-right-to-install-aftermarket-parts), a manufacturer cannot void your warranty simply because you installed aftermarket parts. Tesla must prove that the aftermarket part caused the specific failure in question to deny a warranty claim. UP recommends retaining all factory parts to allow reverting to stock if needed.
What are the shipping options and times?
Unplugged Performance processes orders quickly, typically within 1–2 business days after placement. For U.S. customers, orders under $50 usually ship via FedEx SmartPost with an estimated delivery time of 2–7 business days. Larger items like body kits or bumpers may ship via freight carriers with curbside delivery; customers will be contacted to schedule a delivery window. International shipping is available to most countries, with shipping costs calculated at checkout. Delivery times abroad vary, generally ranging from 5 to 16 business days depending on destination. Import duties or taxes are the customer’s responsibility. To ensure a smooth shipping experience, provide accurate contact information during checkout. For specific questions or shipping quotes, Unplugged Performance’s support team is available to assist.
