Product Details

Further enhance the front end of your Model 3 Performance and accentuate the UP Front Lip Spoiler with UP Carbon Fiber Front Deflectors. These Deflectors sit atop each end of the Front Lip Spoiler just ahead of the front wheels wrapping around the factory front bumper vents to reduce turbulent air pressure. The result is a look more akin to a modern hypercar than a performance-oriented family commuter with its widened stance. In combination with the Front Lip Spoiler, air is sent away from the front wheels to optimize aerodynamic efficiency at high speeds by reducing drag.

Constructed from premium prepreg carbon fiber, the deflector integrates perfectly into the aerodynamic profile of the Tesla Model 3 Performance. You have a choice of two carbon fiber finishes: Satin or Gloss. The Satin finish is subtle and sophisticated, taking cues from full-fledged race cars, whereas the Gloss finish offers a premium and timeless look. Add the UP Front Canards as well for additional cornering grip, stability and hypercar looks.

Installation of our Carbon Fiber Front Deflectors is straightforward and requires no drilling, providing a hassle-free upgrade experience for those seeking to extract maximum performance from their vehicle with the ability to return back to factory-spec for those that lease their Teslas.

For even more aggressive looks and added aerodynamic performance, the Deflectors and UP Front Lip Spoiler can be further enhanced by adding the remainder of the UP Carbon Fiber Front Aero Kit which also includes Front Canards, as well as Front Racing Diffuser.

Note: The Front Racing Diffuser requires the UP Front Lip Spoiler

Model 3 Performance Front Deflectors Includes:

  • (2) Carbon Fiber Front Deflectors
  • (1) Mounting Kit

UP Carbon parts are engineered using advanced prepreg-autoclave technology with our proprietary dry-carbon-kevlar backing layer. This superior method, with resin integrated during production, delivers exceptional strength-to-weight performance compared to traditional wet-layup or vacuum infusion methods.

      Frequently Asked Questions - F.A.Q.
Everything you need to know about this product before you buy.

What do carbon fiber front deflectors actually do on a Model 3 Performance?

They sit at each outer end of the front lip spoiler, just ahead of the front wheels, and wrap around the factory bumper vents to manage the air there. By pushing airflow away from the front wheels, they reduce turbulent pressure and drag at speed, and they widen the car’s stance visually. The look moves toward a modern hypercar front end rather than a stock family sedan. Function and appearance both benefit.

Do these deflectors fit any Model 3, or just the 2024+ Performance?

They are made specifically for the 2024+ Model 3 Performance and are designed to accentuate the UP front lip spoiler on that car. They are not a fit for earlier 2017 to 2023 Model 3s or the non-Performance Highland, because the front bumper geometry differs. If you have the current Performance and want the matching front-end treatment, these are built for exactly your bumper.

Can I install the front deflectors without drilling holes in my bumper?

Yes. Installation is straightforward and requires no drilling, and it can be reversed back to factory spec, which matters if you lease the car and need to return it stock. The kit includes the two carbon fiber deflectors and a mounting kit with everything needed. Because there is no permanent modification, this is a low-commitment way to add carbon to the front end.

What kind of carbon fiber construction is used?

These are made from premium prepreg carbon fiber using advanced prepreg-autoclave manufacturing, with our proprietary dry-carbon-kevlar backing layer. Because the resin is integrated during production rather than added by hand afterward, the parts deliver a better strength-to-weight ratio than traditional wet-layup or vacuum-infusion methods. It is the same construction philosophy we use across our carbon aero line, chosen for parts that have to survive real airflow loads.

Should I add the deflectors alone or go for the full front aero kit?

The deflectors work as a standalone accent to the front lip spoiler, and they also form one piece of the larger Carbon Fiber Front Aero Kit. That kit adds front canards for more cornering grip and a front racing diffuser for a more aggressive look and added downforce. Start with the deflectors if you want a subtle step, or build the whole front end if you are after the full hypercar effect.

What does the satin versus gloss carbon finish choice come down to?

Both show the carbon weave; the difference is the top look. Satin is subtle and takes its cue from full race cars, while gloss gives a deeper, more classic shine. One thing to know: these ship as a base-coat finish that displays the weave, and that base coat is meant to be protected. Have a shop apply clear coat or paint protection film to guard against UV fading and chips.

Are the carbon deflectors covered by a warranty?

They carry a 5-year structural warranty covering fitment and functionality for the original owner. That structural coverage is separate from cosmetics: because the parts arrive as a base coat meant to be clear-coated or PPF-protected, the warranty does not cover visual issues like UV fading, discoloration, scratches, or rock chips on unprotected parts. Protecting the finish soon after install is the way to keep them looking right long term.

Will the deflectors add downforce or mainly change the look?

Their main job is reducing turbulent air pressure and drag around the front wheels, working together with the front lip spoiler, rather than generating big downforce numbers on their own. The visual change is significant, a wider, more aggressive stance. If outright front-end downforce is the goal, adding the canards and racing diffuser from the front aero kit is where the real aerodynamic load comes from. The deflectors set that up.

Does adding carbon aero to a leased Model 3 cause a problem at return?

Not with these, because they install without drilling and come off to return the car to factory spec. That reversibility is specifically called out for owners who lease. Keep the original hardware you remove, reinstall the stock configuration before you hand the car back, and there is no permanent change to account for. It is one of the easier carbon upgrades to run on a leased Performance.

How do the deflectors attach and stay put at highway speed?

They mount with the included mounting kit to the outer ends of the front lip spoiler and around the factory bumper vents, integrating into the car’s existing aero profile so they sit flush. The prepreg construction keeps them light and rigid, which helps them hold their shape and position under airflow. Follow the install steps and they stay planted at speed. Add PPF over the finish afterward to protect the leading edges from stone chips.

What does the Unplugged Performance product warranty cover?

Unplugged Performance offers a comprehensive warranty on all parts and installations performed by our certified technicians. Warranty coverage applies to defects in materials and workmanship on items including lowering springs, coilovers, big brake kits, brake pads, stainless steel brake lines, shocks, and more. Should any covered part fail under normal use or display premature wear, we will repair or replace it at no additional cost—assuming the component was installed by us or at one of our authorized partners.

This warranty is valid for 2 years or 24,000 miles, whichever comes first, excluding consumable products like brake pads, rotors, and tires, starting from the installation date. Coverage extends to labor for warranty repairs when performed by Unplugged Performance or an authorized installer. It does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, off‑road use, improper installation not done by us, or modifications that aren’t factory-approved.

To file a warranty claim, simply contact our service team. We’ll guide you through inspection, shipping (if needed), and repair or replacement logistics. transparencia and top-tier support are what you can expect from Unplugged.

Will installing Unplugged Performance parts void my Tesla warranty?

Installing aftermarket parts does not automatically void your Tesla warranty. Under the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act (www.sema.org/sema-enews/2011/01/ftc-validates-right-to-install-aftermarket-parts), a manufacturer cannot void your warranty simply because you installed aftermarket parts. Tesla must prove that the aftermarket part caused the specific failure in question to deny a warranty claim. UP recommends retaining all factory parts to allow reverting to stock if needed.

What are the shipping options and times?

Unplugged Performance processes orders quickly, typically within 1–2 business days after placement. For U.S. customers, orders under $50 usually ship via FedEx SmartPost with an estimated delivery time of 2–7 business days. Larger items like body kits or bumpers may ship via freight carriers with curbside delivery; customers will be contacted to schedule a delivery window. International shipping is available to most countries, with shipping costs calculated at checkout. Delivery times abroad vary, generally ranging from 5 to 16 business days depending on destination. Import duties or taxes are the customer’s responsibility. To ensure a smooth shipping experience, provide accurate contact information during checkout.
