Product Details
The Unplugged Performance Carbon Fiber Front Aero Kit provides the aggressive look and aerodynamic benefits for the 2024+ Tesla Model 3 Performance.
With the release of the 2024+ Model 3 Performance, Tesla continued to stay true to its design philosophy of focusing on clean lines, smooth edges, and creating a bold front fascia that echos performance. The front fascia changes were created to reduce drag and improve efficiency, which can contribute to its impressive acceleration, handling, and performance.
That being said, the Unplugged Performance Carbon Fiber Front Aero Kit takes this design language further making it a compelling option for those looking to give their high-performance Model 3 a unique look and aerodynamic improvement. Each component in the kit is made of high-quality prepreg carbon fiber and offered in a choice of Satin or Gloss finishes. All components allow for easy, no-drill installation that can be simply removed without evidence of application.
The Front Aero Kit includes all four UP front aero components including the Front Lip Spoiler, Front Canards, Front Deflectors and the Front Racing Diffuser, all made in high-quality prepreg carbon fiber.

Front Racing Diffuser

We’ve put our design through testing using Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations, ensuring its performance.
The front splitter directs high-pressure air and lowers the undertray closer to the ground, generating downforce by channeling air over the car and creating suction beneath the splitter via the Venturi effect. The undertray sits lower and more parallel to the ground compared to the stock one, accelerating airflow and reducing pressure. To minimize added drag, our Racing Diffuser splitter is more aggressive at the sides in front of the wheels working simultaneously with the Front Deflectors, reducing the frontal area and deflecting air around the tires. The airflow along the center remains strong, maintaining the ground effect created by the nearly flat floor of the car.
The Undertray
The leading edge of the front splitter is rounded to prevent flow separation as air moves around the stagnation point. The bottom edge is more rounded than the top, lowering the pressure beneath the car due to the Bernoulli effect, effectively shaping the splitter to function like an inverted airfoil. The underside of the splitter also features corner deflectors that efficiently redirect airflow around the wheels, reducing drag and managing turbulence. While the original deflectors generated lift, these redesigned deflectors generate downforce by being lowered, reshaped, and enlarged, all while deflecting air around the wheels just as effectively.
This component drastically reduces front ground clearance increasing the risk of damage from driveways, parking stumps, curbs, etc.
Front carbon fiber Aero Kit pairs perfectly with UP Carbon Fiber Side Skirts as well as rear side spats, rear diffuser and rear wing.
UP Carbon parts are engineered using advanced prepreg-autoclave technology with our proprietary dry-carbon-kevlar backing layer. This superior method, with resin integrated during production, delivers exceptional strength-to-weight performance compared to traditional wet-layup or vacuum infusion methods.

Does the whole kit fit a 2024+ Highland, and only the Performance?
It fits the 2024+ Tesla Model 3 Performance and is engineered around that trim’s front fascia, which Tesla already shaped to cut drag. It is not built for the Long Range or RWD Highland bumper. Every component uses the factory mounting approach with no drilling, so the fitment follows the Performance bumper closely and comes off without evidence if you revert.
Buying the front aero kit vs. the four pieces separately: which makes sense?
The kit exists so the lip, canards, deflectors, and diffuser arrive as one engineered set that was simulated to work together, rather than four parts you assemble over months. Component-by-component buying works if you want to spread it out or already own the lip. If you want the full front end in one order and one install, the kit is the cleaner path.
How much does this kit lower my front clearance?
It drastically reduces front ground clearance, which raises the risk of scraping on steep driveways and parking curbs. That lower ride is exactly what generates the downforce, so it is a deliberate tradeoff, not a flaw. If your daily drive has steep entries, either adjust how you approach them or treat the most aggressive pieces as track-day hardware.
What does the front aero kit change about how the car drives?
By reducing front lift and adding downforce, it improves front grip and high-speed stability, so steering feel and composure at speed sharpen up. The deflectors also push air around the tires to trim drag. On the street you get a more planted nose; on track the effect is more useful the harder you push. It pairs naturally with UP side skirts and rear aero.
Does this front kit pair with rear aero and side skirts?
Yes. It is built to work with the UP Carbon Fiber Side Skirts and the rest of the rear aero so the whole car balances front to rear. Front downforce alone can shift balance forward, so matching it with a rear wing like the Ascension-R keeps the aero even. Build the front and rear together for the best result.
Will this front aero kit void my Tesla warranty?
Installing the kit will not cost you your Tesla warranty by default. The Magnuson-Moss Act makes Tesla prove a specific failure traces to the aftermarket parts before it can refuse a claim, and four bolt-on aero pieces on the factory bumper never touch the drivetrain or battery. Nothing is drilled and it all reverses, so the front end returns to stock before any dealer visit.
How is the carbon made and what is covered?
Every piece uses prepreg-autoclave construction with a dry-carbon-kevlar backing layer and integrated resin for strength with low weight. Structural fitment and function are covered for 5 years for the original owner. The base-coat carbon surface is provided as-is so a shop can clear coat or protect it, which means UV fading and rock chips on unprotected parts are outside that coverage.
What does the front aero kit include for the 2024+ Model 3 Performance?
It bundles all four UP front aero pieces: the Front Lip Spoiler, two Front Canards, two Front Deflectors, and the Racing Diffuser. Together they cut front lift and add downforce while cleaning up airflow at the nose. Buying the kit gets the matched set instead of sourcing each part on its own.
How was this front aero kit developed?
The design was run through Computational Fluid Dynamics simulations to validate its performance before release. The front splitter lowers the undertray closer to the ground and uses the Venturi effect to generate downforce, while the redesigned deflectors were lowered and enlarged so they now create downforce where the originals actually generated lift. The airflow along the nearly flat floor stays strong to hold the ground effect.
Can I install the front aero kit myself?
All four components install with no drilling and can be removed later without a trace, so a patient DIYer can handle it, though aligning four matched pieces takes time. Given the low-mounted diffuser and canards, many owners have us fit it. If you are near Los Angeles, our Hawthorne team will install the kit and quote scheduling. Take your time on alignment for a clean result.

Coverage extends to labor for warranty repairs when performed by Unplugged Performance or an authorized installer. It does not cover damage resulting from misuse, accidents, off‑road use, improper installation not done by us, or modifications that aren’t factory-approved.
To file a warranty claim, simply contact our service team. We’ll guide you through inspection, shipping (if needed), and repair or replacement logistics. transparencia and top-tier support are what you can expect from Unplugged.
Will installing Unplugged Performance parts void my Tesla warranty?
Installing aftermarket parts does not automatically void your Tesla warranty. Under the Magnusson-Moss Warranty Act (www.sema.org/sema-enews/2011/01/ftc-validates-right-to-install-aftermarket-parts), a manufacturer cannot void your warranty simply because you installed aftermarket parts. Tesla must prove that the aftermarket part caused the specific failure in question to deny a warranty claim. UP recommends retaining all factory parts to allow reverting to stock if needed.
